Statesville Historical Collection Celebrates New Location
Steve Hill and the board of Preservation Statesville warmly invite you to discover the new home of the Statesville Historical Collection in the beautifully restored Holland Building at 117 S. Center St. in the heart of historic downtown Statesville.
Step into this engaging space filled with thousands of photographs, rare memorabilia, and artifacts that weave together the rich tapestry of our community’s history. Explore curated exhibits, including a fully reconstructed Woolworth's lunch counter, restored to its original design and situated in the very spot where a pivotal civil rights sit-in once took place. Discover a glimpse into our train depot’s past with an extensive railroad display, nostalgic advertising pieces, and so much more!
Feel the charm of small-town life come alive with live music from Steve Bell and Danny Wicker, while enjoying light refreshments in a setting that connects us to the stories that shaped Statesville.
