Parkinson’s Programs at Davis Regional Medical Center
Free, Virtual Seminar Presented by the Rehabilitation Team
STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Davis Regional Medical Center is hosting a free, ONLINE seminar to discuss Parkinson’s Programs presented by the Rehabilitation Department’s physical and speech therapists. Join us Wednesday, April 27, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., to learn about these innovative programs during a live presentation followed by an opportunity for questions and answers.
Presenters Patricia Monroe, PT, CLT, Certified LSVT BIG®, and Roseann Brezenski, PTA, Certified LSVT BIG® will discuss LSVT BIG®, an intensive, effective, one-on-one treatment created to help people with Parkinson’s disease. Michelle Lulliano, MA, CCC-SLP, Certified Speak Out!®, will discuss the Speak Out!® program, a speech therapy approach for individuals with Parkinson’s disease that combines education, individual speech therapy, and ongoing group sessions.
