Family Favorite, Darrell Harwood Returns to Downtown Statesville for this week’s Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5

Downtown Statesville Development Corp in partnership with The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce invites you to Downtown Statesville this Friday, September 17, as family favorite Darrell Harwood takes the stage to perform at the Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert Series.  


Darrell Harwood and his 4-piece band, the CWB, is based out of China Grove, NC.  This up-tempo show consists of your favorite country hits, from yesterday and today! If you're looking for the perfect show for the entire family to enjoy, then look no further! Darrell is very inclusive of children and becomes a quick fan favorite. He brings his masterful craft of belting out hit after hit, along with the guys of the CWB, making this a much-desired country music act touring the Southeast. The super-talented band, formed in 2009 has opened for national acts such as Sam Hunt, Jason Michael Carroll, Easton Corbin, Colt Ford, Chris Stapleton, Clint Black, Tracy Lawrence, Trent Tomlinson, Clay Walker, Sawyer Brown, and more! 


The 2021 Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert Series offers FREE entertainment to Statesville’s residents, neighbors and visitors in Downtown Statesville from June through October and features music of all styles. Whether you like Beach Music and Country or Blues and Rock and Roll, you will hear something you like. 


The concerts are held in Downtown Statesville on West Broad Street in front of Mitchell Community College from 6 –8:30 pm.  Beer, wine, soft drinks, sweets from Andrea’s Ice Cream & Sweet Shop and food from Wilson’s Weenie Wagon food truck will be available for purchase beginning at 5 pm so come early to bring your chairs and enjoy a night of music. Concert goers can also enjoy featured craft beers from our local breweries, Fourth Creek Brewing Co. and Red Buffalo Brewing Co. Waffle Chick NC Food Truck will be on hand serving their chicken-waffles, subs, and a whole lot more.


Remember: No Dogs, pets, coolers, outside beverages or containers are allowed.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

This outdoor event will follow all local, state, and federal restrictions in effect at the time.  Hand sanitizer and masks will be available.  Masks and social distancing are recommended in the concert area.
