WSIC and Purple Heart Homes Announce Launch of New State-of-the-Art Studio: Celebrating Veterans and 76 Years of Broadcasting in Iredell County

WSIC is proud to announce the grand opening of the new Purple Heart Homes Studio, a cutting-edge broadcasting space built to honor the station’s 76-year history in Iredell County and to support the incredible work Purple Heart Homes does for veterans. This state-of-the-art facility is the first of its kind in the region and represents a significant milestone in the station’s continued commitment to serving the local community.

To celebrate the launch of the Purple Heart Homes Studio, WSIC is hosting Veteran’s Week from November 12-15, 2024, broadcasting live from this new space. During this special week of programming, WSIC’s show hosts will feature interviews with veterans, community leaders, and special guests.

WSIC’s partnership with Purple Heart Homes reflects both organizations' deep-rooted dedication to supporting veterans and the greater Iredell County community.

Purple Heart Homes, founded by two combat-wounded veterans, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing solutions for service-connected disabled and aging veterans. The launch of this studio represents their ongoing mission to make a meaningful impact on veterans' lives.
