Iredell Health System Announces New Director of Environmental Services
Iredell County, NC – Iredell Health System is pleased to announce Eric Sullivan as the Director of Environmental Services. Sullivan received his degree in theology from Covenant Theological Seminary. He worked in law enforcement before he made the switch to healthcare.
In his new role, Sullivan will oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team to ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. “My goal is to increase patient satisfaction for cleanliness and help the overall throughput initiatives for the hospital. I also hope to help Iredell become a training hospital for future environmental services managers,” said Sullivan.
Living in Statesville, Sullivan is familiar with Iredell Health System, and hopes to make an impact in his new role. “My home is in Statesville and Iredell Memorial is my hospital. Iredell doctors and nurses saved my wife’s life more than once. I wanted to give back and do my part,” he said.
He is a member of the Association for the Healthcare Environment. In his free time, Sullivan enjoys fishing and enjoying the scenery.
