Fifth Street Ministries and Purple Heart Homes will celebrate the completion of four Purple Heart Homes tiny homes donated to Fifth Street Ministries for the Veteran Transitional Housing Program. Thanks to this partnership, four more veterans will be on the path to permanent housing and leaving a life of homelessness behind them.

Fifth Street Ministries is here to compassionately serve men, women and children who find themselves homeless, hungry or victims of domestic and/or sexual violence. We serve by providing clothing, food, healthcare, and safe sanctuary. We advocate for change and offer hope. Currently, we have four main programs: shelter services which includes the Community Kitchen, My Sister’s House, veterans transitional housing, and the PATH house. About Purple Heart Homes

Co-founded by two combat-wounded veterans, Purple Heart Homes has been bringing communities together to provide safe, barrier-free housing solutions for qualified veterans since its founding in 2008. A nonprofit organization based in Statesville, N.C., PHH supports service-connected disabled and senior veterans from all eras across the continental U.S., Hawaii and Puerto Rico through a growing network of local chapters.
