The 29th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Breakfast will be held on MLK Day, Monday, January 15, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Doors will open at 6:30 a.m. The event will be held at the Statesville Civic Center, 300 South Center St., in Downtown Statesville.

The 2024 theme is Together We Can Be the Dream. The guest speaker will be Pastor Jason Davis, the Lead Pastor of Impact Church in Greensboro. Davis holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Pfeiffer University (2004), a Masters of Arts in Religion and a Master of Divinity from Liberty University Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree. Pastor Davis is known for his charismatic approach to ministry and his love for the local church. He has a passion for raising leaders and equipping the Body of Christ for service. This calling led him to begin the Impact Leadership Institute in 2020. He is married to Rosetta Davis and they have two children.
