"Bob Stamey was a beloved and accomplished farmer and cattle exporter. He was just a little boy when his father started Stamey Farms in 191. Today, buyers from around the world come to Statesville to select cattle which then get loaded onto planes and ships going to farms in Ecuador, Turkey, Vietnam, and many other countries. Once on their new farms, the cows provide milk for cheese, yogurt, and, of course, ice cream. Stamey Farms is helping feed the world!"
