I-CARE, Inc.

I-CARE, Inc. is a non-profit Community Action Agency assisting families in Iredell, Catawba, Alexander, and Lincoln counties in North Carolina. We offer opportunities for families with low incomes including Head Start/Early Head Start; Weatherization and other energy efficiency programs; workforce development, education/job training tuition assistance, and home ownership assistance through Community Services Block Grant funding. We believe that expanding economic opportunity for all families is vital to our economy. The initiatives we deliver include access to education, job training, housing, and childcare. Our approach to providing access includes connecting families to a continuum of care that offers a mix of our agency programs as necessary and available based on our program capacities and customer eligibility and suitability, as well as collaborations with other public and private partners.
