Mrs. Kim Smyth is the 5th Grade Math Teacher here at American Renaissance School in Downtown Statesville!

" This will be my 12th year at ARS as a staff member. Before joining the staff, I was a parent volunteer, officer of RAP, Snack Coordinator, and Book Fair Coordinator dating back to 2006. I love what I do because of who I get to do it with--the students and coworkers. I love being a part of a child's "happy place".

When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Tarheels, St Louis Cardinals, and the Atlanta Braves." - Mrs. Smyth
