Wayne & Jerry

We're shining the spotlight on not just one, but two of our most dedicated members at the Statesville Fitness & Activity Center—Wayne & Jerry!

Wayne (left) has been a regular here for nearly two years and loves the friendly members and welcoming environment.

Jerry (right) has also been with us for two years, enjoying the variety of equipment and, most importantly, the amazing community that makes the center feel like home.

But let’s be real—if you’ve visited the center, you probably know these two best for dominating the ping pong table in our lobby! 🏓 

Whether they’re locked in an intense match or simply greeting everyone who walks in (they’ve affectionately earned the title of our “Walmart Greeters” 🙃), you are sure to find these two with a smile. Challenge them to a friendly game or just take a moment to say hello! 👋

Meet Jahan (Jon)! Jon has been with the Statesville Fitness & Activity Center since day one—16 years ago!

What keeps him coming back? He loves the wide variety of fitness classes available every day, the amazing members who participate, and how helpful and knowledgeable our instructors are.

Thank you, Jon, for being a loyal part of our fitness family and inspiring us all to stay active and engaged!

Meet David!  David has been a member of the Statesville Fitness & Activity Center for 6 years!

What keeps him coming back? He loves that his membership is covered through Silver Sneakers, making staying active and healthy even more accessible.

David also appreciates the variety of equipment we offer, the welcoming environment, and the incredible early morning crew who bring positive energy to his workouts.
