Rescue Ranch Animal Ambassadors Meet the Community

Rescue Ranch hosted an open house community event on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Ranch in Statesville. More than 60 guests of all ages came to learn more about Rescue Ranch and the educational programs, projects, and events offered. This was also a great opportunity for the community to learn more about Rescue Ranch's mission and impacts being made in the community.

Guests were greeted by Animal Ambassador Jordie, (African Grey Parrot) when they arrived. Hands on interactions or "meet and greets" with animal ambassadors Velvet (Eclectus Parrot), Tater Tot and Avery (Rabbits), and Hanger (Lesser Ball Python) were also a BIG highlight of the event. A fabulous array of fruit, pastries, and coffee was provided for guests by JD's Catering.
