Rescue Ranch team in the Holiday spirit at Hoptown!

Rescue Ranch team sponsors the Ugly Sweater Contest, and guests return the holiday spirit by "Sippin' it Forward"!

On Thursday evening, December 21, 2023, the weekly Music Bingo event at Hoptown Brewing came alive with Holiday Spirit!  Well over 100 guests participated in the event, and while most everyone was dressed in their favorite holiday attire, over 25 individuals participated in the Ugly Sweater Contest, sponsored by Rescue Ranch.  Approximately 15 representatives from the Rescue Ranch organization - both staff and volunteers came out to help judge the contest - and show appreciation to Hoptown for their generosity to the community.  Prizes included a wide array of pet friendly items - lush pet beds, fabulous pet treats, pet toys and grooming tools for furry friends (dogs and cats).  In addition to the items, VIP tours of the Ranch, as well as gift cards to Hoptown were distributed to the top three winners. 

Since early 2023, Rescue Ranch has been one of the four selected Charities to participate the Sip it Forward program that Hoptown launches annually.  Guests can purchase a Sip it Forward beer (quite yummy), and in doing so, receive a token to place in the one of the clear, slotted boxes on the wall.  If you prefer a different type of brew, don't fear!  Beer (and cider) lovers can of course purchase tokens for $1 each - and still show support to the charity of their choice.  At the end of the year, tallies are made and Hoptown generously presents checks to all four charities, based on the number of tokens purchased. Again, just another symbol of the spirit of giving, which Hoptown traditionally shows their community.

This event was fun for the whole family!  Throughout the evening, as bingo contest winners of all ages would win, the fabulously funny (and well dressed) DJ team would encourage winners to support the efforts of Rescue Ranch by placing tokens in the Rescue Ranch slot on the wall.  

All in all - a perfect way to kick off the holiday weekend and promote the spirit of the holidays (ugly sweaters, fellowship and giving)!!
