Laps for Heroes: Purple Heart Homes Partners with Dale Ogburn to Honor and Support Veterans

Purple Heart Homes is proud to be the official non-profit partner for Dale Ogburn Motorsports for the 2025 Carolina Crate Modified Series. This campaign kicks off on March 1 at Florence Motor Speedway. Dale will be hitting the track with a mission this season – honoring fallen service members and giving back to Veterans in need.

For every lap that Dale leads during the 2025 Carolina Crate Modified Series, he will donate $1 in honor of a fallen service member whose name will be displayed on his car. Additionally, for every race Dale wins, he will donate $250 in celebration of the 250th birthday of the U.S. military branches.

"Partnering with Purple Heart Homes has been a truly meaningful endeavor for my team and I. It’s an incredible opportunity to raise awareness about the housing challenges facing our veterans, using our platform to create a deeper impact beyond just winning races and performing on the track. Through our 'Laps for Heroes' campaign, we aim to infuse the racing season with excitement and motivation, not only inspiring our team to perform at their best, but also giving fans a powerful cause to rally behind, whether they’re in the stands or cheering from home." said Dale Ogburn, Carolina Crater Modified Series Driver.

Fans and supporters can join Dale in making a difference. Whether you’re at the track or cheering from home, you can show your support by making a pledge or donation. Every dollar helps provide safe, accessible housing solutions for service-connected disabled and aging Veterans.

“The racing community and the military have a strong connection of shared values. Being a Veteran, Dale Ogburn knows first hand the sacrifices that the men and women that wear our nation’s uniform make. It’s these same values that have led him to honor our nation's heroes while supporting Veteran housing needs through Purple Heart Homes! We are so proud to be partnered with Dale Ogburn Motorsports for the 2025 season and cheer him on to the winners circle!,” said John Gallina, Co-Founder and CEO of Purple Heart Homes.
