1. Full Bloom Film Festival- September 5-7

The Full Bloom Film Festival is dedicated to bringing quality,  diverse, cinema to Statesville, NC, a multifaceted art-conscious city in  North Carolina.  Just North of Charlotte, there is something for everyone. FBFF will take place in 2024 from September 5th - 7th in and around Historic Downtown Statesville.

2. System Change Conference/Dinner on W. Broad Street – September 9 & 10

Get ready for a thought-provoking and delicious experience at the System Change Conference, followed by a Farm to Table Dinner. This event brings together experts, activists, and community members to discuss important issues while enjoying a meal made from locally-sourced ingredients.

3. Friday After 5 - September 13 & October 4

Nothing says community like gathering for live music and good company on a Friday night. The Friday After 5 series continues with two more events this season. On September 13 and October 4, head downtown to enjoy live performances by incredible bands, delicious food, and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a busy week. 

4. Downtown Harmonies Music Festival - September 14

Music lovers, this one's for you! Get ready to groove to the rhythm of Downtown Statesville! Join us for the inaugural Downtown Harmonies Music Festival on September 14th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the ARS Gym & Activity Center. Enjoy live music with friends and family while supporting American Renaissance School.

5. Fall Art Crawl - September 21

Art takes center stage once again with the Fall Art Crawl on September 21. Wander through the streets of Downtown Statesville as you explore downtown businesses, meet artists, and even witness live art demonstrations. This event is a great way to support local artists while enjoying the vibrant culture of the community.

6. Statesville Pride Parade & Festival - September 28

Celebrate diversity and inclusion at the Statesville Pride Parade & Festival on September 28. This event is all about love, acceptance, and unity, featuring a lively parade, local vendors, and live entertainment. It's a day of celebration for everyone, so bring your pride and join in the festivities.

7. Carolina BalloonFest - October 18-20

One of the most anticipated events of the year, the Carolina BalloonFest, returns on October 18-20. Witness the sky filled with colorful hot air balloons, enjoy live music, food vendors, and a host of family-friendly activities. Whether you're soaring above the treetops or enjoying the view from the ground, this festival offers a truly magical experience. Although the festival takes place at the airport, the event has strong ties to Downtown Statesville, where the organization’s office is located. 

8. Pumpkin Fest - November 2

Wrap up the fall season with Pumpkin Fest on November 2. This family-friendly event celebrates all things autumn with pumpkin-themed activities, vendors, and of course, plenty of delicious food. It's the perfect way to enjoy the crisp fall air and get into the festive spirit as the holidays approach. Hang around for the Flow Statesville Pumpkin Fest After Party with the always fun Uptown Dueling Pianos! Dueling pianos is a sing-a-long, clap-a-long, all-request show where two pianists play decades and genres worth of popular songs.
