Rotary Farmers Market Appreciation Day

The Rotary Club of Statesville, NC invites you to join them in supporting local agriculture and crafts at the Rotary Farmers Market Appreciation Day, June 26, 2021, from 7am-12pm. 

“We wanted to take this opportunity as we head into high season to show our appreciation not only for our vendors, but for the patrons that support the Rotary Farms Market in Downtown Statesville.” Said Rhyne Scott, Rotary Farmers Market Committee Chair for the 2021 Season. 

You will not want to miss these great activities: 

8 am-noon:  FREE Kids Art Activity hosted by Iredell Arts Council. Join local artist Linzi Manning, for veggie painting.

9 am:  FREE Outdoor Yoga hosted by Statesville Family YMCA. Join Y instructor, Melinda Spencer, for restorative yoga.

10:30 am:  FREE Local Food Tasting hosted by Cultivation Garden Program. Join local chef, Michael Spencer, for cooking samples.

Come out and enjoy a wide variety of farm fresh produce, local meats, baked goods, and handmade items to include:

• Farm Fresh Produce: tomatoes, lettuce, squash, cucumbers, peaches, blueberries, honey, eggs.
• 
  Local Meats and Coastal Seafood: pork, beef, fish, shrimp.
• 
  Baked Goods: cakes, breads, cookies.
• 
  Handmade Items: jewelry, note cards, soaps.
