Take a Walk in the Park Day (March 30, 2025)

The City of Statesville is home to many parks, greenways, ballfields, and even a dog park!

National Take a Walk in the Park Day, 03/30/25, encourages us to get out and stretch our legs on our favorite trail (or a new one). Walking outdoors puts you in direct contact with sunlight. Did you know that exposure to sunlight increases serotonin, the body's natural mood stabilizer, reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety?!
