๐Ÿ‘ฎ ๐Ÿš’ Have you ever wondered what itโ€™s like to work in public safety? Nowโ€™s your chance! Applications are being accepted for the ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“ ๐๐ฎ๐›๐ฅ๐ข๐œ ๐’๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ ๐€๐œ๐š๐๐ž๐ฆ๐ฒโ€”an 8-week interactive program that takes you behind the scenes of the Statesville Police Department and Statesville Fire Department.

Experience hands-on training, live demonstrations, and real-world scenarios led by first responders. The academy runs from April 10 to June 5, 2025, and the deadline to apply is April 2, 2025.

๐Ÿšจ The City of Statesville Public Grounds & Cemeteries Division will be removing all time-worn flowers, wreaths, and similar items from Oakwood and Belmont Cemeteries during the week of April 7-11, 2025. If you have any items you wish to keep, please remove them before this date.

Please also note that certain items, including wire, metal, bricks, stones, wood stakes, bird feeders, candles, solar lights, wind chimes, and concrete statues, are prohibited in both cemeteries.
