Water Main Break Alert: Tradd Street at E. Front Street

City crews are working to repair a water main break at Tradd Street and E. Front Street. This incident began as a reported sinkhole, but upon investigation, it was found to be a water main break. In addition, the water caused damage to the storm drainage system, which crews are also addressing.

Repairs are expected to take 6–8 hours to complete. Residents in the area may experience low water pressure or discolored water. If your water is discolored, run cold water in your bathtub until it clears, but do not run it for more than 5 minutes. Traffic has been shifted to allow flow in both directions around the area.
