10 Fire Safety Tips for Statesville Residents

Smoke Alarms: Ensure that your home is equipped with working smoke alarms on every level, including inside and outside sleeping areas. Test them monthly and replace the batteries at least once a year.

Did you know if your smoke alarm is older than 10 years, it needs to be replaced? The Statesville Fire Department partners with both The American Red Cross and NC OSFM to offer free smoke and C/O alarms.
