Balloon Chasers 5K & Fun Run:

Join us for the Balloon Chasers 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run – an exciting event that offers both a thrilling run and a day filled with festival activities!
Celebrating its 50th year, Carolina BalloonFest promises an unforgettable experience.
The flat and fast course starts and ends at the terminal of the Statesville Regional Airport, providing a unique opportunity to run on the airport runway while enjoying spectacular views of hot air balloons launching and in flight (weather conditions permitting). The 5K is chip-timed, and the first 150 participants will receive a medal. When you register receive a complimentary one-day pass to the festival ($20 value) must use free pass coupon via online registration.
Age Group Awards will be presented to the top male and female in each category: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-74, 75+. Additionally, the first 50 1 Mile Fun Run participants will receive a finishers medal.
