Piedmont HealthCare Welcomes Kayce Johnson as Newest Director of Operations
Piedmont HealthCare is excited to announce the addition of Kayce Johnson as a Director of Operations. As the organization continues to expand rapidly, with over 70 locations and 228 providers, this new role will be crucial in supporting our growing community and meeting the increasing demand for Piedmont HealthCare’s services.
Kayce Johnson brings a wealth of experience to this position, having begun her career in healthcare business development. Her journey into healthcare operations was significantly shaped by the challenges Iredell County faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Working at vaccine clinics and managing day-to-day tasks that ensured everything ran efficiently helped me realize that I thrive in this area. I’m eager to use this experience to help make sure offices are running smoothly" says Kayce.
Johnson was particularly drawn to Piedmont HealthCare because of its innovative approach to care and its proactive problem-solving attitude. "Piedmont HealthCare's commitment to overcoming obstacles with a focus on quality care really resonated with me," she says. "I’m excited to contribute to a team that is constantly seeking to improve and adapt."
“Kayce is a tremendous asset to Piedmont HealthCare. As our organization expands, we need leaders like Kayce who understand the community and are dedicated to delivering exceptional care for our patients and supporting our offices," says Jeffrey Smith, CEO of Piedmont HealthCare.
Outside of work, Johnson and her family enjoy the unique blend of small-town charm and proximity to larger cities that Statesville offers. Their weekends are often spent on Lake Norman, exploring the mountains, and engaging in seasonal activities. Johnson shares, "We’ve started camping with our young daughters and dogs, and we look forward to making that a regular family activity."
Piedmont HealthCare is thrilled to welcome Kayce Johnson and looks forward to the continued growth and excellence her experience will bring to our organization.
